The Graeme Watkins Project off to LA

The Greame Watkins Project
The Graeme Watkins Project has been invited to showcase at the MusExpo music conference in Hollywood, LA on 29 April 2012. This will be followed by an intimate performance in the renowned Pianos in New York City on 7 May 2012. On both occasions, the SAMA nominated band who shot to success with their hit singles Music Affair and Bloodshot Eyes, will be performing in front of some of the world's leading music industry professionals. Sat Bisla, founder and president of MusExpo and A&R Worldwide, was impressed by the band’s music and stage persona while watching them perform at a local industry event last October in Johannesburg, and through that showcase invited them to perform at his MusExpo conference. “Graeme Watkins Project delivers an enigmatic sound and energy that is reminiscent to the musical nuances of Radiohead on a soundclash with Muse; however, blended with an additional distinctive attitude. After seeing Graeme Watkins Project in South Africa last year, I have no doubt they will win over fans and industry alike in the US and will generate some great outcomes from an event such as MUSEXPO.” Sat Bisla, President & Founder, A&R Worldwide. Sat, who is renowned for discovering and developing new talent, has worked with the likes of Coldplay, Dido, Keane, Lily Allen, Jessie J, Muse, The Temper Trap and LMFAO. "We are excited to be exploring opportunities beyond South African borders and look forward to taking insights out of how an international audience receives our music, which will add vast value to our creative process for our next album," said Graeme Watkins.
